catslovelycats Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Hi all I wonder if anyone can help me? We are thinking of introducing G4S at my school and I wondered if anyone can give me any ideas about how to do this and what to think about when rolling it out please? We're new to all this and it's a daunting step into the computerised world of the 21st century! Thanks in advance of any thoughts you can share.
tombry Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 G4S? isn't that a facilities management/security company? what software are they going to be giving you? I think that would help your questions to be answered.
resin1 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Would suggest that the target audience for the OP's query would know (and similarly shorten!) the product name in question, which is Go4Schools. We have it but yet to get it setup so cannot offer feedback. I will read replies with interest :-) 1
vikpaw Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I dare not even think what Group 4 Security might do to your school's data!
GREED Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I dare not even think what Group 4 Security might do to your school's data! Not train enough staff to support you would be my first quip!
rgarli905 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 We have recently bought go4school as well and will be rolling it out to staff in September after SLT have had this term to get a handle on it. Initially we are getting all our data in it to give us a good picture of where we are at with each year group. Then we are going to design markbooks with HOD's in the last half of summer term. You can email me if you want to collaborate on anything: [email protected]
GeeHubb Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I dare not even think what Group 4 Security might do to your school's data! Lose it?
