netadmin Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I have RIS setup and can deploy images to Virtual PC and VMWare without any issues. I attempted to follow the directions on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314479 to add NIC, VGA, and Audio drivers to RIS, but I am still getting the Invalid Network Driver error, when RIS text mode starts up. Any ideas?? I have tried everything I can think of. I updated the SIF file with the paths to the drivers (Drivers\Nic;Drv\VGA1;Drv\VGA2) and copied the NIC drivers to a folder. Below is my folder structure. \RemoteInstall\Setup\English\Images\XP-Pro-Car >\i386 >\$oem$ >> \Drivers >>> \Nic >> \Drv >>> \VGA1 >>> \VGA2
altecsole Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 You'll probably have to also add the drivers to the i386 folder. Have a look at http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-000023.htm
