CAM Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 If I visit http://www.fftlive.org I get sent to the following address in IE: https://www.fftlive.org/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f and the site has a Thawte verification image on the login screen. If I visit the same address in Chrome it alerts me about an invalid certificate and I get sent to https://www.fftlive.org.uk/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f with no Thawte certificate. What is going on? This only my end or are others experiencing problems?
kmount Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 The SSL certificate is only valid for .org not .org.uk. So you're getting the warning on the .org.uk link because they've not added the .org.uk name to the certificate. And as it's a new certificate in the last week it's probably an oversight. 1
CAM Posted April 3, 2013 Author Posted April 3, 2013 So this means FFT own the .org.uk domain? Weird how IE is sending me to .org but Chrome to the badly certified .org.uk domain which seems a bit silly on FFT's part!
