Toshiba ST-20 bulb hrs reset?

Got the above projectors and a few now refuse to reset the lamp hours using the power on, up arrow on remote, wait for beep, down arrow on remote, metbod to reset which I have used before. Remote is OK, sound is on in menu, waited ages but still no reset beep. Would phone Toshiba but they will only give access by premium rate telephone now. Pronectors out of warranty but still display well. Only solution at moment is to press ok when it warns of lamp house each time its started but although OK not brilliant. There are two buttons marked service on the projector, anyone know if these would help me? Only other metbod in manual is no use as we do not have the wall mounted controls.

This is not helpful I'm afraid but I have the same problem on two ST20's. I followed the above reset method found elsewhere on Edugeek but without success.

 

On my To-Do list to call Toshiba / our Disty contact to try and find a solution.

We have exactly the same problem with our TDP-ST20. Have lived with it for over a year now as couldnt find anything out. Toshiba didnt know either and their support was useless - never calling back.

Plug in power cable, hold up arrow key on remote on machine until it beeps. Hold down arrow on remote until machine beeps again. Lamp now reset.

Yes thats the procedure but unfortunately it eventuly stops doing it, i.e. you can hold the arrow key for ages and nothing happens, no beeps etc, and yes I have beep turned on in the menu. I have had it work but now have to press ok that bulb life expired...teachers getting used to doing that now untill we replace them with Casio LED ones.

We tried this many times - didnt work for us, but projector now replaced anyway.
