voki.com audio recording

hi guys.

 

can someone test something for me please...

 

anyone in the swgfl, can you access a site called voki.com, click on create at the top of the page. In the section that loads, click on the microphone to try and record some audio. When I try it, it fails with an error.

 

Everything else on the site works, but i cannot record audio.

When does it fail for you?

 

It seems to work up to when I hit cancel, and get an error NetConnection.Connect.Failed But I don't have a mic so it might be that

 

Only thing I would say is flash comes up asking for permissions to let the website use your mic etc, so if that's not allowed on student accounts its pretty useless

That's it failing. It should give you the option to stop recording.

 

Its not just the kids. It fails for me as an admin even using the unfiltered staff proxy.

 

 

Does anyone use this site in the south west grid?
