timbo343 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 We have been running v10.0 for a while and it's been great however the MyFiles view doesn't show any configured drives, nor does it know who are Domain Admins for when you need to edit the config. So i upgraded to 10.6 and found this knows who is Domain Admin and shows the drives down the left but no content - others have been having the same issue. The fix is to revert back to 10.5 however 10.5 has the same issue as 10.0 even when starting out with 10.0 and adding 10.5 files to a new installation. What is the actual fix to get HAP working correctly? Am i doing something wrong?
timbo343 Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Here's my web.config code for 10.5 which i think is pretty normal however HAP isn't picking up the DOMAIN ADMINS roles for some reason: and here's the hapconfig.xml file with sensitive information blocked out. This too only displays the MyFiles without any drives listed down the left hand side. %homedir% \\172.16.26.121\public
timbo343 Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 A brand new install of Windows 2012R2 with HAP 10.0 installed doesn't work either? What gives? Is it now an issue with my domain - could it be to do with the domain function level been set at 2016?
timbo343 Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 So, on this installation, i've copied and added a 10.6 dll files from the bin folder: HAP.AD.dll By replacing these, I as a domain admin can now see the MANAGEMENT Tab and gain access to the Setup.aspx area of HAP. The MyFiles are is still an issue however the is the home directory but not folders or files are listed.
timbo343 Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Does anyone know of any log files that i could look at for HAP to see what the issue is?
