Popular Post contink Posted October 1, 2008 Popular Post Posted October 1, 2008 Thought I'd share this one as it's quite a useful one.. Comic Life (by plasq.com) actually do have an MSI for a GPO install and a Windows Installation guide which covers the reg keys for the serial number and turning off the "explorer" option. Very useful. I've asked for permission for the guide to be attached here or for it to be recreated in the wiki... but short version is you can contact their support team using this form: plasq.com - Contact ... and they'll send out the guide.. Wish I'd known before I repacked the darned exe... Ah well.. 5
Mazza Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Hi If you don't mind me asking, when you repackaged Comic life, was it for a CC3 network? If so, were you able to do it in such a way that the kids could still access the shared area with the explorer button, but not all the other drives? Cheers, Marion

Cheers, Marion No, sorry... it was for a standard Win2k3 vanilla network.. I don't have any schools with CC3 or any other RM system so I can't offer anything useful.
