BatchFile Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Has anyone come across a simple (Windows Movie Maker type of thing), open source video editing program that they'd like to recommend? Reason I ask is that we're looking to give students homework involving making a simple video, and we don't want to trip up over the different versions of Movie Maker in the various different versions of Windows. We'd rather have a standard one that they can download and install from the VLE, then bring into school and open no problem. Many thanks in advance!
TechSupp Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 VLC were doing one, had a look a while ago and it looked OK. 1
CyberNerd Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 lightworks beta is pretty good, albeit quite difficult to use for students. Blender, Kino and Stopmotion are also quite good. 1
