laserblazer Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Text book emergency landing. I bet the passengers were a bit apprehensive though.
computer_expert Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 There is a video taken from an alternate angle here: Boeing wyl (that white stuff on the runway looks like foam)
CAM Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 That is going to leave one big repair bill for the giant gouge it must leave behind.
JoeBloggs Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Looks like a smoother landing than I had with US Airways.

computer_expert Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 wow, easyjet really are looking at all ways to cut costs aren't they. now not even fitting planes with landing gear! Don't you mean Ryanair?
timethrow Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Don't you mean Ryanair? computer_expert Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 That is going to leave one big repair bill for the giant gouge it must leave behind. Not sure how much damage was done to the runway, but this is what the 767 now looks like:
