Insulate a Smartboard from electrical interference?

Got a Smartboard that will not orientate correctly to follow the pen mark. Will complete the orientation (20-80 points) correctly but trying to draw a line with a pen is near on one side but 3" away from the pen on the left. Trying to draw lines gives the image shown so I'm suspecting power interference in the wall. How can I go about insulating the board from any interference from the wall electrical cables? Its just hanging on its bracket at the moment, removed screws at bottom to eliminate those!smartboard.JPG

Out of warranty :-( , just phoned Steljes and they think its age related (after the usual its the software version) and want £150 to come and check it out, if faulty would possibly replace (suppose cheaper than a new board!). Will try new software version first.

Just an update, I was barking up the wrong tree it seems. All it took was an upgrade to V10 and a firmware update and all is accurate! Looks like I'm on the update trail now with the rest of the boards :-(
