Dos_Box Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 At long last. After 10 days solid in London bouncing from the Learning Without Frontiers conf, straight into BETT and then filming our webcast yesterday it is with great relief that I can now go home to my family, my bed and to shampoo that does not turn my scalp to a flakey mess! So to everyone who has helped my stay down here (and kept me sane) I thank you. Now to go back home to a place with a horizon, fresh air, peace and quiet and my family who I've been missing so much. Just 2 hours until my train now
Little-Miss Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 You can have a day off Dos_Box, i'll allow it

Rydra Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Now to go back home to ..... peace and quiet .... and my family ..... Hmmm, normally 2 things that don't go together... peace and quiet and family! It's rarely quiet when i get together with my parents/sister, and it's never quiet with just me, the wife and 2 cats in my house! Peace is something I gave up on as soon as i started working in education
Dos_Box Posted January 18, 2011 Author Report Posted January 18, 2011 Thanks Mike. I've always preferred Going Home, the Local Hero theme: I know it's audio only, but for those who have never heard it close your eyes and enjoy.
Dos_Box Posted January 18, 2011 Author Report Posted January 18, 2011 I'm sitting in the railway station, got a ticket for my destination..... 1 Hour to go.

Domino Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Both responses are indeed classics - but never underestimate the power of a City and Colour track
HTCIT Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Have a good rest Chris you deserve it, and it was nice meeting you.
