mattx Posted November 16, 2010 Author Report Posted November 16, 2010 Christ - I think this IBM drive is welded into the caddy - can't figure out how to get the darn thing out !!
timzim Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) These blokes were very good when I needed something similar. Cost half the price anyone else and more reliable than some of the dodgy-looking offerings then avaiable on eBay. Drive arrived the next day too. Also let me buy on a PO & pay on invoice. I'm using them again this week as I've the very same drive (36GB u320 10k scsi) gone down in one of my -ahem- senior servers (if it were a horse I'd be loading the gun...). Same here about the horse and gun - server is an old IBM Netfinity [ I installed it 5 years ago as a DC and WSUS server ] - will be up-grading next year but still want to keep this going !! Will give this firm a call in the morning. Many thanks.
