I've setup a WAP to allow students to use the internet, I'm using DHCP option 252 WPAD to point to a proxy.pac file and this works ok for Windows clients but Macs won't pick up the file even though I've selected to auto detect the file. If I manually specify the location of the .pac file they work so they can clearly read and understand the file.

Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong, I don't know allot about OSX am I missing a setting somewhere?

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks.

EDIT

Ah I might of found an answer! Unfortunatly I don't have an available DNS server in this WLAN which is why I used DHCP :( any suggestions?
