ive put all my photos on bebo over the last 5 years. I dont still have the originals. I want to close my bebo, but would like to transfer all the photos over to facebook. Is there an automated way to do this?

I just want to be to transfer them from one networking site to the other.

How do i do this?

There is no automated way it seems. You'll need to download them all then re-upload them to the other site. (Bebo -> Facebook)

Don't worry, Yahoo, Beebo and Facebook will be mergin soon so I would imagine all the photos on there will merge too?

??? Source for this? Last I heard, Bebo was facing either closure or sale by its owners (AOL). And Yahoo?

I highly doubt that Facebook will incorporate any of the others features. If i remember rightly, i think bebo has great spam featues, that is to make sure that you recieve the maximum amount of spam. Similar to myspace! I think that facebook will want to keep far away from that!

I don't know how Bebo works internally, but have you thought about using something like 'http://www.downthemall.net/'? Its an addon for Firefox, which allows you, on a page, to download all linked files - so you can choose all linked jpg files etc...

Tanya, you have a keyboard that has at least 108 keys. Please don't use text speak here, we get a lot of international visitors and it confuses them, if your question leads on to help others it is important that they get to understand what is being asked and what replies we give first time.

These sites are designed to share pics but you really need to keep the originals I'm pretty sure when you upload them the quality is reduced. They're not there to offer a backup for your pics so they don't offer an easy way to bring them back down expecially if you're trying to move them to a rival site.

Indeed. If you do want to be able to store your images in high quality format online, try making use of a site such as Flickr or Google Picasa.

Hi guys,

Just noticed this thread whilst doing some Googling. I've put together a page which helps you with this problem - it's in Beta at the moment but you're welcome to try it out. Any feedback or suggestions are most welcome. At the moment I'm working on expanding the functionality so that you have two options, either download the images in Zip format (which is what it does now) - or upload straight to Facebook.

Hope it helps :)

Thanks

Johnathan
