6Foot2 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) I have never been able to remember or make use of the little ditty that others use to remember how many days there are in each month. Instead I use my knuckles when I want to quickly determine how many days a particular month has [and I have done for many years] Today I saw that someone had posted a reply on another forum [the reply referenced another website] about this method. I found it surprising that others were not aware of it. I post a link to the referenced website here and ask do you use the same method/had you heard of it? Link: Monthly Knuckles : TipNut.com Edit: The ditty: Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November; All the rest have thirty-one, Save February, with twenty-eight days clear, And twenty-nine each leap year. SC-UK Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I've always used the ditty to remember it, but will be using the knuckle method from now on - simply as I've never seen it before and it's quite impressive (which I possibly shouldn't admit!)
