have enabled it - and it has been enabled for a while (to block compressed files, exe's, .swf (games) & system files... but nothing really seems to be happening, have set to active screening, but no files are being removed and there is nothing appearing in the logs in the C drive...

the screening is set on the main students dir. will this pass down to all subdirectory layers?..

Thanks

File screening will not remove existing file in contravention of the policy, it will only prevent new files being saved there.

You can test this by trying to copy an exe to a location served by a file screening policy, if it is working it will give you a permission denied error dialog box.
