flashsnaps Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I have outlook at home (no exchange). How do I get it to Out of office reply when the machine is turned off/or outlook is not running? Is there a way? Replies fine when Outlook is running. From what I understand outlook has to be running in order for out of office to reply to incoming messages.
ZeroHour Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Pretty much yeh, but depending on your provider (if say gmail) you may be able to setup more "server based" rules to do it for you. If its just plain old pop3 and not gmail/hotmail then your out of luck sadly. You may be able to get a lightweight program to run in your tray to do the same thing though to save resources.
