EduTech Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Had a member of staff come to us today, he has remote access to the school. He recently upgraded to SP3 on his computer, and now the Cisco VPN Client does not work. Has anybody else experienced this... And if so do you know how this can be fixed. All Broadband Sandwell are giving us is (err you will just have to format it and do not put on windows XP SP3) Thanks in advance James.
Michael Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I don't have this problem and I've run this configuration for quite a while. Try re-installing or downloading a newer version of the client.
EduTech Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 ok what is the latest version.. and by any chance do you have it at hand as i went to the cisco site.. and couldn't download it.. Regards James. P.S. PM me if you cant put the download on here. cheers
Michael Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I download it directly from BGFL's website (which you probably won't have access to), but it's v4.6.04.0043 for your reference. I'm not at my own computer at the moment, so I am not sure exactly what version I'm using, I just know it works.
EduTech Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 Ok thanks, no i actually dont have permission to go there. see if google brings me any luck Cheers
FN-GM Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 We use version 4.somthing with SP3 without any problems. z
