I'm on the scout for a gigabit switch for home - so have been looking on E-bay for any second hand bargins when this catches my eye:

Anyone had any experience with this at all ? My brain is telling me to steer clear but at £15 I really want to see just how bad it really is !!!! [ or not ]

Your brain speaks truth. You can do better than that branded and new, I've never even heard of them. It would be interested to see how terrible it really is though.

I've got a mate who had a 16 port gigabit Netgear switch on ebay last week.

 

They took it down because he put "as new" in the listing title.
