Bit of an odd thing came up today. Now that we are on Office 365, we make all of our new Shared Mailboxes within 365 itself, rather than creating them locally and migrating them like we do with new users.

A few days ago we made a new shared inbox for our Junior School receptionists to share, but we found that while they could both open it within 365 Outlook, only one of them has been able to do so within the Outlook 2010 application. I myself have also tried to do it and cannot access it either.

Here is the message that I and one of the receptionists get: "The set of folders cannot be opened. Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Either there are network problems or the Exchange Server is down for maintenance."

We all have full permission to access the mailbox and the same version Outlook 2010 with the same windows updates for Outlook and Office 2010.

Can anyone offer us any help?

Many thanks and best regards,
