I would like to create a NEW blank database for SIMS. I ran SIMSINST v1.21.3.0 and when it was just installing MSDE 2000 it said that it was incompatible with the operating system and that it needed to be run on Windows NT 4.0, Xp or 98. Is there a different version of Microsoft SQL that is freely available and compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 and SIMSINST v1.21.3.0. If so, how would I create a database for SIMSINST or will it do it for me? And (sorry, I have a lot of requests) what is the default login for SIMS once everything is installed?

Anyway to manually create a database for SIMS?

Is there anyway to create a new sims database on sql server? do i just call it "SIMS" and then create a connect.ini file and then how would i go about adding users?
