    I thought it would be best to let you know all about what EduGeek will be doing at BETT 2011 (Stand G89) so even if you can't make it you can see the sights


    1. Live standcam from the, well, stand, curtesy of the Mobotix camera which will displayed on the homepage so you can follow the action live, with a shoutbox beneath for you to send us messages in real time
    2. Manning the BETT Technical Help Point, where you can get information and advice on where to look for the products and companies you are seeking, or just to get answers to any IT problems you are experiencing.
    3. Two podcasts a day on our YouTube channel (YouTube) to show off the latest technologies as we see them.
    4. A large selction of mobile devices for you to play with. From iPads, Windows and Android tablets to Kindles and Sony e-book readers.
    5. Roaming reporters tweeting live from the most interesting stands.
    6. Free pizza at lunch (between 12:00 and 12:30) on the stand (G89).
    7. Loads of freebies and the (very) limited edition posters.
    8. Free wireless access for our members (details to be available on the stand) via Ruckus Wireless and the Server-Room-In-A-Box.
    9. Server-Room-In-A-Box. Come and see the wonder of miniturisation of a full LAN backbone in a portable box!

      Has the Server-Room-In-A-Box had any change from last year?

      No. It is a vision of perfection. Although the virtual platform has changed and I really want to get a Gb switch in there (lack of time more than anything) there are no visable changes. If anyone can suggest poential additions to it feel free.

      righty, booted it, configured it ready for use, if you give me details of IP range and subnets etc, I can get that done as well and you are good to go with a full 10/100/1000 managed switch on friday!

      Hi all,
      Don't know if it helps, but logged in to the site I can only see one comment, but logged out I can see them all...
      Looking forward to coming to BETT on Friday - will anything be left??

      Hmm, i can see all the comments, both in the forum style thread and as comments on the front page....

      Same issue .. when logged in can only see 1 comment and even when I post this one I won't see it ... when not logged in then can see them all. Using Chrome ... could be a cookies issue.

      RE: comments, the frontpage uses a cache which is why it can be a little delayed in updating where as the actual comment thread which stores the comments has a different cache method.

      Why no webcam yet!!! Oh sorry i forgot - it was only asked for at 1 minute to 10 and therfore we are running around like blue bummed flies to get it sorted!!!
