Related to the EuroGamer Expo blog, we are running an education related Video Games event at Magna in Sheffield next year called "Games Britannia" celebrating the UKs massive involvement in Video Games Industry. The event has been organised in response to the Nesta report and is part of Rotherham Schools Children's festival. I have attached a paper I wrote a while ago on the effectiveness of a BSF project. I know BSF is dead but it does highlight some issues relating to IT outsourcing and other school IT issues. I have taken out some sections as they are either not relevant or may be a little too contentious. Perhaps the conclusions (Section 3) might be the most useful.
