Using Latin Phrases

    By all means use latin in speech but can you PLEASE spell correctly...

    A friend got quite annoyed because every time someone would say PER SE, he thought they were extracting the urine from his name .... Percy.

    I've got a book on how to swear/insult people in Latin. You could get something similar and mumble something appropriate every time they do it.

    Little childrne can get it wrong, but adults working in schools should not!

    et cetera - two words - one abbreviation - etc (or etc. if you really want to be pedantic)

    Not Latin, but in the same vein, it really gets my goat when people write "on route" or "on mass."
