Im not having a good day.
Just got some HP ML110 servers to setup for a task, and the YHGFL filtering will not allow me to download drivers on secondary proxy due to being a banned site.
So Its pointless firing up libproxy (but i do it anyway) ..... its still a banned site.
So I fire in my wak-pub credentials .... and its still wont let me (?!?)
Is there any way I can download drivers Via FTP from the HP site, or can i just go home now !
I can see a visit to the caretakers house coming on to use his AOL ... (yes AOL !!! look what you are putting me though) connection to do my job !!
but seriously ...
Can we have access ?
I'm not blocked - but the connection is oh so sloooow.
Which files do you want, I'll try and doqwnload for you if you like.
Hi we have had slow internet in sheffield since "Routine Mainance" on 30th of may and the school point server is unusable as it keeps kicking everyone out unless you log in with the sheff-pub password I have teachers trying to fill in there foundation stage tracker on it and it took one member of staff the whole weekend to do 4 pupils I have reported it to our MIS team but have not heard any thing other than BT asking who did the "Routine Maintance" if they dont know how should I Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! its all a farse
To be honest, I'm not seeing the same issues when going through the proxy. Can you give me the URL you are having issues with? I have just gone to ftp://ftp.hp.com and have got there fine.

I think the problem may be that you have to log in to get the files. So I have added the website to a list that doesn't cache the website access, as this can often cause problems with downloads if it has not been done.
Hopefully, this will solve this problem, but it won't take effect until 4am tomorrow. I hope this fixes this for you.
Try downloading a driver .... it fails with a blockpage error.
It appears we have to take the second FTP lettering off the link to get the file.
Thanks for the effort to help, but with this I managed to get the files I needed.
