Just wondering if anyone has had any issues recently.
Our LEA (Wakefield) Admin department got the cornficker virus and had to be shutdown. This caused a mild panik, with everyone assuming we were also infected. But funnily enough I DO service pack everything here and we are sound. Sophos manages to keep the beasties at bay here, and never have to touch it.
Internets been stable ... Im begining to think its a strange and wonderful dream.

8th December 2009, 02:24 PM #3 We had a support company bring in cornficker on a USB drive lucky we patch everything as well really. They infected the machine that they were working on as they had local admin rights, I noticed this when I viewed the DC logs and notice loads of failed logon attempts from the same IP.
I was not pleased.
Other than that we haven't had any problems we rarely do as we use WSUS for almost everything and NOD32.
