Home wifi... help please!
I have Sky Broadband at home with their standard router. This doesn't provide Wireless-N, so I've been using a Netgear DGN2000 router as a wireless hub with the wireless on the Sky router disabled. The Sky router uses IP address of 192.168.0.1, so I setup the DGN2000 with an IP address of 192.168.0.30 and all has been well with the Sky Router dishing out IP addresses to the wifi equiment (don't know if that's how it's supposed to work, but it did)
Until yesterday afternoon when wireless stopped working and now I'm stuck because I can't remember what I did to get this working in the first place and my wifi knowledge is negligible :(
I couldn't ping 192.168.0.30 and lights were flashing indicating that, for whatever reason, the two routers weren't communicating. After the obvious switch-em-off routine, still no joy. I connected directly to the DGN2000 router and still couldn't talk to it, so I had to hit the reset button. I can now talk to this router.
What I don't know is how to get the whole thing set up again. An idiot's guide would be greatfully appreciated.
