Ruckus - what is it capable of?
I was planning to put in cat5 cables to several of our classrooms this summer, but it looks like it is going to be too expensive now. How realistic an alternative is 802.11n Ruckus? If I have a handful of desktop machines each logging onto our domain (maybe 5 per ap), can I expect the performance to be decent. The signal would be passing through a maximum of one thin wall.
My other question for any Ruckus users out there relates to a situation whereby some users are connecting via 802.11g and others via 802.11n, does the system slow to accomodate those on 802.11g?
I'd be interested in hearing from those of you have got it hear how you are getting on.
