HP Procurve High collision or drop rate errors
I think this has been brought up before but does anyone know what causes the High Collision or drop rate (Formerly Overbandwidth) Error on HP 5406zl Switches?
I think other users have said check for mismatches in speeds but ive checked and everything is fine. i.e. HP Printers are set to Auto and the port in the switch is set at Auto as well.
Ive even made sure that the switches are on the latest firmware.
There is no consistancy in what hardware is causing it either. Errors occur with HP desktops connected, HP printers and NEC desktops.
Hope someone can help as its begining to do my head it! :-)
