Slow Logon on Dell machines
I'm having a problem with all the Dell machines in the school.
They are taking between 2-5 minutes to logon whereas all the other PCs in the school (Fujitsu and HP) logon in 10-20 seconds.
They are Optiplex 170L P4 2.8Ghz running XP Pro.
All of which were re-imaged about 5 weeks ago because of the same problem, which seemed to cure it untill now.
Yesterday I updated 3 of them with SP3, all the latest MS updates, BIOS and NIC drivers.
These 3 machines now only take 50 - 60 seconds to log on.
We use 2003 Server std edn SP2 on the DC and Winsuite for the logon on the client machines.
(Loging on as admin which bypasses all winsuite controls is instant)
Any idea what I can do to get these Dell machines down to under 30 second logons?
