What you will need is this
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../33_s3ics.mspx
http://www.google.com/search?client=...utf-8&oe=utf-8
Basically you can use Internet Connection Sharing (aka ICS) to do this
P.S I have never used this (We currently use WinGate)

I have heard of problems using this and I have briefly used it myself as a temporary measure. While considering this please do look a things like Smoothwall or a little more complicated but more features Censornet or at least ISA server. Censornet and smoothwall can be installed on an older work station.
will that work, as the connection is been fed from a domain on 182.16.24.1 255.255.248.0 and the im trying to get the server to act as a gateway from one domain to another. It server machine has got 2 network cards in, one one the 182.16.24 domain and one on the 192.168.1.1 domain
What traffic needs to go between the two? Just web/mail etc or server replication traffic as well?
its just web traffic.
It should work fine then. Just disable the second NIC in the server. For a basic NAT firewall use Smoothwall on any pentium class machine (it will need a dedicated machine).
