Cisco AP's not working
Stange issue at one of my schools
4x Cicso Aironet 1100 access points with Power over ethernet
everything has been fine until a couple of weeks ago.
The wireless points just seam to stop working as if the wireless has been disabled, you can still ping the ap and access its webpage, but not contect to the wireless network.
Cycling the power to the Aps works and clears the error, abut after a few days it crops back up again.
Only thing that has changed on the network is the replacement of the cachepilot
The following warning is in the Ap's event log
Packet to client 0002.7848.5f4d reached max retries, remove the client

It looks like a network device with that MAC address could be spewing bad packets out into the network and causing the WAPs to crash. By the looks of the MAC address it has the vendor string of "Samsung Electro-Me" (Search results for "00:02:78:48:5f:4d" (Vendor/Ethernet/Bluetooth MAC Address Lookup)) it might be an idea to check what the MAC address is on the new cachepilot and determining whether that is the culprit.
You can also look into what kind of packet behaviour is causing this by doing a wireshark capture on a hub or mirrored port between one of the APs and the offending machine.
After you have tracked the device down you should be able to either replace the NIC/reinstall the machine or report the offending device to its supplier so that it may be disciplined.
