No, the length of the copper cable is irrelevant to the wireless signal strength.
Be wary of metal rails in ceilings and big walls etc... - Maybe there's an edugeek guide to wireless network installation somewhere....
If in doubt, plug it in and see how it performs then be able to move it around!
Wire-less == no wire. :)
No wire == no 2nd dimension therefore length doesn't exist :)
But on serious note, the length restriction is due to the way twisted pair - wired ethernet was designed and when they designed wireless they made sure it dodn't have the same restriction. :)
