Can someone please suggest an HP switch I can use that has an uplink so I plug in to either our 2324 or 4104gl ?
I am fed up using an old D-link Hub. This only needs to have a few ports as it will sit on my test bench....

100mbit or 1Gbit ports and how many?
managed or unmanaged?
fibre or copper uplink and speed?
100 or 1Gig, unmanaged.
Uplink just an RJ45 connection like i am using on the hub at the moment....
How about a ProCurve 408? Nice and cheap :)
The 1700-8 is OK and has a few management features (like VLANs, etc.)... the manageability leaves a little to be desired but for around £50 from Mandy at Oliis it is OK for 7 100Mbit ports and a gig uplink.
Thanks the 408 looks just what I need - plug it in to port 8 and I should be away. Thanks for the advice...
