    web interface console

    Morning all,

Looking for a bit of help here please,
Problem is i cant access our wireless web interface console (DLink wireless managed switch), i can ping the ip address and all is well!! but no joy when using web browser, i bet this is something really simple that i have not thought of!!
Would you recommend restarting the wireless switch?
    Help much appreciated.

try your proxy settings, make sure you have an exception for your switches ip. or a range.

How are you trying to access the web interface? Are you plugged directly into one of the switch ports?

Directly plugging into the switch is for initial setup, i have accessed the web interface since last summer,we had a power outage recently and this might of caused this problem.

Have you tried accessing the web interface directly through a switch port or not?

You should be able to telnet, web & ssh into it so I would try one of the other two methods.

Well if you could do that then it would help narrow down the problem... and you'd also be able to check any security configurations on the switch.
