    The switch is on the end of a fibre link directly from the main HP Procurve switch, and it is a new build so all the points are nicley labeled so i know there is no loops. Also it is only utilisng about 18 out of the 24 ports and two of those are printers so it shouldnt be out of memory! Oh yeah and the machines are hardley ever used as they are in the music practice rooms.

    We have a few FSM726's at the edges of our network - no problems except when we did the FW updates they needed individual visits to get them going again

    AFAIK the prosafe stuff now comes with a lifetime warranty too
