    Cant you just upgrade the schema of the domain to 2008/R2 with the AD prep tool on a server install disk. You don't need to be running 2008 R2 to use the R2 schema and its means its already done if you do upgrade.

    Ah ok my ad schema is 2008 R2 so that's fine then.
