Again, people are now mocking this women.
Why ? Because she deserved it.
How did she get to Sweden ? In a plane I would like to guess. How did she cope with the cosmic radiation ?
So thats ONE person in the UK which has a population of around 70 million.
If she is THAT concerned then she should move.

I'm going to get me one of those dohickeys that turns the radiation into an audible noise and then show that wrapping it in tin foil reduces the radiation because you can't hear the noise as much, I'm sure wrapping it in a blanket, sheeps fleece or putting anything else over the speaker would have the same effect.

    re: tinfoil woman
If you go on national tv and display your tinfoil wallpaper, you will be made fun of.

Back in the day, Panorama used to be about debate and balanced arguments - last nights program was pitifully one-sided, there was no independent testing and I now feel a need to beat Paul Kenyon around the head with an access point just to make him aware that they != mobile phone masts.

By all means investigate whether WiFi does/doesn't have harmful effects, but can we keep tabloid tv and bad science out of it please.

edit: it appears tinfoil woman lives not a million miles away from here

Quick!! Pass me a tin hat!

Of course, TV and radio transmissions from the BBC have been around for decades, and you don't hear them doing programmes about two headed children caused by this do you?

Gasp! There are 4 wireless networks in a classroom! And dozens of satellite frequencies (all GHz), many TV frequencies, a vast radio spectrum, cosmic rays; this list goes on.

What a bunch of credulous fools... Just shows how poor science education in this country really is.

Re: Panorama's "Wireless in schools" Program 8:30 Tonight

I asked in staff briefing this morning if anyone had watched the programme and only 1 person had.

I reassured her that I had a tin foil hat in my office for her if she felt the need for it.

Someone has to - could not stop laughing when I saw her house. Changing Rooms eat your heart out !!
Still she got her 5 mins of fame - if I was interviewing her I don't think I could keep a straight face - I would have to keep making beeping sounds and running out in the garden pointing at the sky.....

Now you are suggesting that cosmic radiation and Wi-Fi have the same effects. She is one person that we know about. It's not as if thousands of people can suddenly go to their Doctor and say "I'm suffering from Wi-Fi signals" Why? Because they might not know what it is that is affecting them.

I believe tinfoil woman is supposed to be sensitive to all such "radiation" so yes the effect of cosmic should be a factor shouldnt it.
