Wireless Interference Band Scanning implemented in WAP Software
Looks like some enterprising people have managed to implement a way to scan for other sources of wireless interference not generated by other wifi stuff such as microwaves and Xbox controllers. With this built in the need for seporate spectrum analysers like the WiSpy would be reduced signifigantly.

A number of enterprise vendors have already included this functionality, Aruba, Aerohive, Juniper, it's a built in function of the latest atheros chipsets. It's very useful indeed, no more walking around with a handheld spec analyser.

I've been impressed by Aerohives integrated analyser so far, the below makes for quite an interesting read for non 802.11 device interference:
