Can't change wireless password
I have two laptops which are being pigs at connecting to the wireless network. AFAIK they have worked before and I know the APs are fine.
When I click 'connect' they go straight into trying to connect and then fail, stating that the network must be out of range.
I wondered if the key had got corrupted, but I cannot get in and change it. I have followed all advice - deleting the network out of the lists, deleting various reg keys, but I cannot get either machine to display the box so that I can put in the key.
I'm not sure that IS the problem (as usually if the key is duff the thing gets stuck on 'acquiring network address') but I need to be able to check.
I took one home just to see if all was well and it detected my home network and straight away asked for the key, so it would seem that the actual mechanics of the thing are fine.
Any advice gratefully accepted

is there any MAC filtering on the wireless network?

Can you not go:
Right click adaptor ->
And input a key there? Rather than the popup on connection.

No MAC filtering on network.
Will try the method to put the key in but still don't understand why I cant make the pop-up appear!
