Wireless solutions trapeze??
Why would you need a Trapeze network for a school?
If were talking about a small primary school that has about 60-90 laptops but the classrooms/workspaces are spread out? would this be the recomended option or would an alternative solution be better?

A managed wireless solution is always better IMO but I'm not impressed with the Trapeze control panel also theres no support on their web site ... ruckus is much better IMO (Ive got both!!)

Just a quick update - Do I need "dumb" APs and a hugely capable switch or can I get away with more WAPs on the existing system to maintain bandwidth. Would it matter if the laptops were then moved to a different part of the school for the afternoon or would they only pick up the original WAPs in the other end of the building? - Sorry - I'm a noob at networking!

A managed system would be far more effective, simply because 1 slight error on your "dumb" APs then you will be heading for trouble!
