Help me understand the new range of HP switches
We're a fully Procurve shop at the moment and I'm looking to extend the iSCSI network out of the server room. We have redundant fibre runs to each satellite cab, in 2 of these I am looking install a gig copper capable managed switch (minimum 8 port) , with 2 multi use (fibre/copper) uplinks.
Back in old money these would have been the 2800 series, but I cannot fathom the new model specs.

would the E2915 not be what you want? or the E2910 as a direct replacement for the 2800?

If you can live with web managed then http://www.wstore.co.uk/Product/1279...Gigabit_Switch could be an answer for you.
