Final update: The school are happy with the wireless as confirmed via email from head teacher.

The provider of the wireless is working w/ Netgear to resolve the issues.

So that's me out of the loop

    @ John, Grumbledook and Dos_box!

I would be very intereseted to hear/read about any reports or finding you have please as I have just had 2 Netgear systems installed exactly the same as above (except the larger one uses the 7520 controller). We use samsung netbooks.
It's early days and we are still effectively testing it live, mostly it appears to work well, some domain unavailable issues which we are tracing.

If you have any links etc please pass them on. We are north London based

I am a big fan of managed wireless for schools, they've waited a long time for it, and I'm keen to help make it work and share experiences

    Many thanks!

    Lloyd

@MDM As far as I know we haven't had a Netgear test yet, although @nephilim may have tested it as part of his large test of managed wifi that he is conducting.

If you search the forums you will find many wireless threads, a clear favorite amongst members is Ruckus and it is very popular.
