I'm wondering what suppliers you recommend for patch cables? We need some cables around 0.3 m and 0.5m (not sure if any smaller)
We are trying to colour code some of our patch panels in our cabs so its easy to identify what goes where so a few good colour options would be nice..........!
Make your own - cheaper and alot more fun...... :-)

Good luck organising your cabs. I spent a good couple of days doing that and it lasted about 3 mins before it got messed up again !
Thom: Ours used to be the same We don't change that much stuff now though so it still looks neat
We've used Patchsave and had good service from them.
Making cables is not fun, the last one I did started at 2m and ended up 6 inches!!
Cheap and their cables start at 41p inc vat for 0.5m
Webman, i notice from your gallary you have some Buffalo Terrastations. Been looking at them as they seem a cost effective (read: cheap) NAS solution. They any good? Sorry to wander off topic.Originally Posted by webman
Hi Lee. Yes they're not bad ... there's a thread on here somewhere about the time we got them. We had one died after a power surge but was replaced rather quickly. There's a community built up around them with custom firmware available, but we've just stuck with the official one and integrated into AD nicely.
Are there no problems with throuput on the Terrastations? would they be any good as file servers?
