I am glad not just me
We've been using Logmein for doing remote stuff at weekends/evenings for ages - but this last week it seems to just lock up and kick us out. It works OK to sites that are not here. I spoke to EMBC about it - they were very cagey about it and referred me to speak to the LA - anybody else experiencing this? I can't talk to .ICT as we don't contract with them anymore and they won't speak to me.

if that was the case then stop it going out and not coming in so can connect to computer in school from home but cant connect to yuor home computer.
right just had word with embc contact it maybe something to do with upgrades that have gone on so I am about to log a call and I will let people know..
Cheers Russ - they denied that anything had changed at their end when I spoke to the helpdesk - and got the distinct impression that it had been blocked by request of .ict/LA, though they wouldn't say that directly.
I'd be really interested to hear of the response.
As to the kids using it - they did here until we blocked it for them.
Update on this been passed on to devleopers but not limited to free service was speaking with people at RM and they use rescue service and they had issues with embc schools.
This should be fixed now according to embc helpdesk so checking it now and if other people want to try and then let me know.
Dunno about you - but it doesn't seem fixed for me - looking at LogMeIn's status window shows the connection being chopped off every 2 minutes throughout the day. They called me to tell me it was fixed earlier - but I had to go back and tell them it wasn't (at least for me).
Irregardless of whether you have an SLA with Capita .ICT they are the first point of call for Northants schools for EMBC issues.
If you can give me the Capita .ICT ref numbers I will pass these on the NCC.
I presently speak directly to EMBC / Fujitsu about EMBC stuff now but part of that is due to special arrangements ... I'll give more details next week after speaking to the LA.
If you have issues with support at Capita .ICT then speak with Stan, the Customer Service Manager ... he will listen to the issue if nothing else.
yes still got same issue so going to phone them on Monday and then also send email to embc contact and push them along..

yeah ... but my gripe is that EMBC pay Capita .ICT to field calls from NCC schools.
As much as I would say that this is an EMBC problem with LogMeIn ... Capita .ICT need to sort their act out.
I am costing up moving to Capita direct atm ... but the savings on training courses for other staff is considerable ...
They think it is now solved as they wroked on it last night...
So let me know if people still have an issue..
Yep - looks OK - they emailed me yesterday and said they had external support people in to try and fix it - seems they've managed to do it without getting my login and password they requested!
