    Integrated Windows Authentication Problem

    Hi

I am having a problem with integrated windows authentication on our web based booking system. The integrated authentication worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago but now it asks for your username and password before allowing access to the site. I have installed the software on a new web server to remove a faulty installation from the equation but to no avail, so I am now thinking I may have a problem with active directory not passing the credentials to the web server. Does anybody have any idea what I need to look for? The software is installed correctly on the web server with the correct authentication settings in IIS.

    Thanks

    Matt

Silly thing, but check the clocks are in sync on the servers - I've had that cause all sorts of silly things before to do with authentication.

All the clocks are synced with the main dc but i double checked and they are exactly in sync with each other, any other ideas?

I presume you've tried stopping/starting IIS Services and rebooting altogether?

Thats correct, the software has been completely reinstalled on another server just to rule out the possibility of a faulty installation. What is strange is the software worked perfectly up until about 2 weeks ago which is why i am thinking they may be something a bit more serious wrong. e.g. AD problem.

    Thanks

Do the event logs show anything unusual? Do you have more than one DC in your domain?
