Here's a strange one. Both my technicians have an iPhone3g which is hooked upto the campus wireless. However it appears these phones are causing a DoS on any access point they associate with (rapid association/deassociation - after a few of these the AP shuts off for a few minutes, disconnecting anyone who may have been on it and preventing new connections). It only appears to affect these 2 iPhones that have the WPA2 key. Other iPhones that may be on site don't seem to be causing issues however I would to fix this before we roll out open wireless to kids! (as presumably some will have iPhones)
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? As far as I know these iPhones are running the latest software and our wireless system (3com managed) is all upto date

Are these to phones using the same firmware version as ones that dont cause the issue?

I don't think it's malicious or anything..

I dont know what will cause it but it might be something to do with the modified firmware.
