    I think you're right. Just trying to think outside the box - looking for ways to make laptops more managable.

    As I said above, I tend to avoid laptops like the plague.

    Having wireless charging capabilities in desks would be absolutely fantastic, but I don't see this happening at least for another 5-10 years.

    Given that batteries don't tend to get replaced in school laptops during the entire life of the laptop (at least not in our case) this would be really useful. Saves messing about with AC adapters and having lots of spares for when the batteries inevitably run out during lessons (the original AC adapters are permanently stuck in the laptop trolleys so can't be used).
