3G Internet Dongles for Education?
Just wondering if anyone is using these for mobile tech e.g. netbooks etc and if so how have you gone about the topups etc? Problem seems to be that they're time limited, I was wondering if a batch of sticks could be tied to say one account with a data limit or something along those lines?

I believe that you can buy 'special' dongles for education through Catalyst. I know that Lancashire Grid for Learnign procured a load and they routed back through the CLEO infrastructure to provide filtered net access.

Interesting, wonder how you get info on these as none of our suppliers seem to know much about them outside of the usual uses

Vodafone were doing a dongle where the data transfer you bought didn't run out after 30 days it was more like a year. I think it must be this package (TopUp And Go - Mobile Broadband - Vodafone), but at a quick glance I can't see the expiry time. Pretty sure their dongles didn't work with Macs either
