    Wireless Server

    Having thought about the laptop issue many of us are now having to cope with, we have decided to use a separate vlan for them to gain Internet Access.

    This would work (I imagine)
    Internet -> Router ->
    ------------------- Curriculum (this is already in place)
    ------------------- Admin (this is already in place)
    ------------------- Wireless Server (2003 + Ubuntu in VMbox) -> Vlan on the WAPS -> Laptop

    Now from what i read (link). I need to use a combination of Dansgurdian, tinyproxy, firehol and should be a *relativly* pain free experiance.

    Should the above setup work? If not why not? how do you do it in your network?

    P.S I need as much of this to be OpenSource as possible, as I'm trying to make the case that Opensource != Buggy, and cr*ppy
